Sports Doctor. He studied at the Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia). He is an active member of the Imbanaco Medical Center and the Dermatological Center of Cali and Surgical Specialties where he has developed his professional practice since 1992, being part of the arthroscopic surgery unit.

He belonged from 1995 to 2009 to the América de Cali sports club and the Colombian Football Federation as director of the medical department for the elderly. Between 1986 and 1992 he directed the sports medicine department of the Manzana Postobón cycling team in the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España.

In November 2005, he obtained institutional recognition from the Universidad del Valle for his successful career in the medical field.

The doctor Héctor Fabio Cruz with more than 27 years of experience brings in 2011 from Italy, with the certification of the Ministry of Lla Salute in Rome and with EXCLUSIVITY for Colombia, the NEC Method (Ketogenic Enteral Nutrition) in which he works as Medical Director .
